Uninstalling Birt

Uninstalling BIRT from Eclipse

If you are not using the complete package "Eclipse IDE for Java and Report Developers", you can uninstall BIRT from Eclipse as follows. If you are using the complete package, we recommend that you reinstall Eclipse.

1. Start Eclipse.
2. Go to "Help → About Eclipse → Installation Details".
3. In the "Installed Software" tab, select all items that have "BIRT" in their name. (Generally "BIRT ..." or "Eclipse BIRT ...")
4. Click on "Uninstall...", "Finish" and close Eclipse.

BIRT should now be removed from Eclipse. To install the compatible version 4.6.0, please follow these instructions. If you encounter problems, we recommend removing Eclipse and reinstalling it completely.
